Story is a GeneratePress child theme for company and product blogs. The newest post opens the home page as a featured story, the rest follow as compact rows with a coloured category label, and a sidebar keeps popular posts and a newsletter box in view.

Fonts, colours and layout ship with the theme and load as GeneratePress defaults, so you can change everything later in the Customizer. No page builder and no GP Premium.

Works with GeneratePress Free

Design settings load as GeneratePress defaults and stay editable in the Customizer. GP Premium is not required.

Fonts included

Setup steps

Install GeneratePress

Install and activate the free GeneratePress parent theme from Appearance → Themes.

Install the plugins

Install GenerateBlocks and Enhance for GP. The recommended plugins add related posts, popular posts, the author box and the comment form.

Upload Story

Go to Appearance → Themes → Add New → Upload Theme, choose the Story zip file and activate it. Fonts, colours and layout come with the theme.
